Become Chief Risk Officer (M/F) at AXA Luxembourg

Roles & responsabilities

• You will be in charge of the development of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework in the different entities (Axa Lux. Life, Axa Lux P&C & Axa Wealth Europe) : Coordinate the 2nd line of defense and ensure all the risks are mapped and reconciled with the Group Risk Grid ; Identify, Measure and Oversee financial, insurance, operational and information & technology risks.
• You will coordinate the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process in the entities and communicate the results to the different stakeholders (Executive Committee, Audit Committee, Group Risk Management).
• You will be in charge of developing and monitoring the Risk Appetite framework and inform the relevant stakeholders in case of breach.
• You will animate the Risk Committee in charge of reviewing regularly the risk profile of the entities and check it against its Risk Appetite and Risk Limits.
• You will give an independent opinion on the Investments, Assets & Liabilities Management (ALM) & Reserves, Product Approval Process and Reinsurance. You will also challenge the Strategic Plan.
• As CRO, you are responsible for a proactive risk management. This will be ensured through challenge and constant dialogue with the business and supported by the emerging risk management framework.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Econometrics, Mathematics.
• Experience of more than 5 years in a similar position (risk management) or in the insurance sector (actuarial area, finance).
• Fluent in French and in English (regular contacts with Region and Group).
• Leadership skills (department to manage).
• Skilled communicator with the ability to challenge the others and propose alternative solutions (problem-solving skills).
• Able to analyze complex information, to identify the key issues and propose solutions.
• Knowledge about Life and P&C businesses and of the regulatory environment (Solvency II).
• Understand the issues involved in running an insurance business, including key financial dynamics and drivers.
